Not sure if this has been covered before.

I'm trying to upload Images from my iOS photo album to my gallery. This used to work, but now fails on both iPhone and iPad.

A new page opens which just reads:

Uploading...
No files uploaded

No other messages are provided.

I've tried both Safari and Chrome.

Cheers
Grant

Interesting. Likely a browser issue - I don't have an iOS device to test but it works on Chrome Android.

I'll download and try a third browser. I assume I'd see a message if the image was too large?

I don't get a notification if the file is too big, it just doesn't upload, like ZollyMonstas first post.

It's file size, but no error is displayed.

Tried the same image from Windows 10 desktop. Same message. File is 2.16mb in size.
Resized to 50% of original and upload that and it's fine.

So it seems it's due to file size, but appropriate error message isn't displayed.

File size is why I just tweet things and then embed that.

The limit is 2MB.

@richms an image that's more than 2MB is seriously too big for a forum. Page load times, view on mobile, etc all makes a worst experience.

So resize it? Its a PITA to do on a phone, and 2MB isnt really that much for the embiggened view of things. I have often screengrabs that are bigger than that too.

Resizing on a phone is very easy - Adobe Photoshop is free and works a treat.
