I must be doing something wrong here.

Trying to upload a 1 mg odd picture to a forum post.

I upload from phone to desktop. The picture is the right way up,

Upload to my Gallery and its rotated to the left.

Why does it do this and how can I stop it from from doing it. I try to turn it round then upload it but still no go.

Frustrating for such a simple task. Cant see an option in Gallery to rotate it either

The photo is probably missing the orientation information. It happens sometimes if you take it with the phone or camera in a weird angle.

My iPhone is notoriously bad for this. 99.99999% of the time I have to manually re-orient photos 360 degrees to ensure the correct orientation before uploading or sharing them. No weird camera angles required. Just a bug that Apple doesn't seem to want to resolve. :-)
