The sticky needs updating, as this part "enter your search and make sure you check the button in front of "geekzone.co.nz" to limit the search to this site." Is not available as an option.

The site:geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp works well, and you do need to put the site: as the last item in your search request for best results.

You have to use the either Google Search box present in the forums or content pages on Geekzone or the Search link in the menu on top of all Geekzone pages. You are showing a Google page screenshot and obviously the button "search on geekzone" won't be present there.
