In the author column beside posts by Kiwis, there's sometimes an Aussie flag showing where a NZ flag should be. No big deal but why is this?

The flag is just based on IP address ranges. These are not always a totally accurate indicator of geographic location.

Telecom Mobile Broadband users show up with a USA flag for example.
