Hi, Not sure, but I can't update the old email address to a new one in my profile. I do get a link and click on it but nothing happened, means my profile still has the old email address. Any help with it?

Cheers

Once you get the link, click on it (or copy and paste). This will load the profile page. Now enter the email address you want and click [UPDATE].

Look at the link carefully, if it is anything like the registration link, then some email clients will break up the link so when you click on it from within the client it will only use part of it.

So doing a copy paste is your best bet.

Done.

But, the rules missed this instructions:

freitasm:Now enter the email address you want and click [UPDATE].

This is what says the rule when you try to update an email

Your profile has been updated, except the e-mail address. An email has been sent to your new e-mail address blablabla@company.com with a special link to the profile page. Click the link on that e-mail to complete your changes.

This is the email I'm getting form the forum:

Click the link below to complete your e-mail update on Geekzone:

I do click the link and ... nothing happened :) It need to say something "Re-enter your email and press update" somewhere in a process. :)

May be like this:

Your profile has been updated, except the e-mail address. An email has been sent to your new e-mail address blablabla@company.com with a special link to the profile page. Click the link on that e-mail ,re-enter your email address and press [UPDATE] button to complete your changes.
