freitasm: You can put any valid URL with https protocol within a img tag. The URL must be directly to an image.
Yeah google photos makes that operation pretty difficult. As you have to share the image (which is to a page) eg:
https://photos.app.goo.gl/q7kqHgMNNbG00xyc2
Then open that and go get the image link:

I was just wondering it there was a way of taking that first link, and embedding that in a post, I guess like you've done with youtube videos how it has a special tag?
