[ img ] tags - a way to use google photos?

Since all my photos go in there, it's really great being able to use it for searching, but it would be great if there was an easy way on linking to it from a forum post (would save GZ from having to store the image though - of course then if' it's linked the photo could not exist at a later date....so 50/50 pros/cons.

You can put any valid URL with https protocol within a img tag. The URL must be directly to an image.

Yeah google photos makes that operation pretty difficult.  As you have to share the image (which is to a page) eg:

https://photos.app.goo.gl/q7kqHgMNNbG00xyc2

Then open that and go get the image link:

https://photos.google.com/share/AF1QipPgn2gIxNBq8wXo1hiPJLsvjpwi_qEAjsJVX_0UOnr0w7W8Ax82KmHEkEnc1ARdZA/photo/AF1QipMTD0g9BaAFyko2UuIobJDQzS_PnkHBv6CT-cKP?key=YnB6aVlvVEN5ZF9sVjQ5V090N2hud2FJdmhmaG5R

I was just wondering it there was a way of taking that first link, and embedding that in a post, I guess like you've done with youtube videos how it has a special tag?

BTW see how that 2nd one if broken?

Google obviously does not intend for images to be hotlinked.

If you right click and view image, and use that link, you should be able to embed it I believe.
