The Geekzone server has been going down a lot recently, much more frequently than before. It just happened again. I notice it when I try to post something and I get a timeout error. Usually it doesn't last long, often less than a minute, though occasionally it can go for 10 or more. If I try to load another site, it works normally. This is something specific to GZ, though I don't know what.

Yesterday we had some timeouts while I was modifying the database to add some small security feature.

Today could be your connection. The network is monitored on a minute basis and we have two separate paths for redundancy. I don't think this was on our side.

except the multipath is lost once it's on cloudflare ;)

It is lost from your ISP to Cloudflare. We are using Cloudflare load balancer and Argo. Cloudflare will notify me if any path fails in less than a minute so I am pretty sure nothing happened today.

Whatever the cause, it definitely happened. I will keep an eye out and try to gain more info if it happens again.
