I am a creative writer. Not so much as I used to be, but still...

Sometimes I make up words for a particular effect. I just posted something with the word 'tele-congregation' in it. Only I posted it without the dash. However many times I tried, something kept changing this to 'Telecomgregation', with upper case T and m in the place of n. The only way I could get it to leave the word alone was by inserting the dash. I don't like it that way. I would prefer it without. But at least it's better than the other alternative.

Is Geekzone doing this? Or could it be my browser? If so, does anyone know how to turn it off? I find I do make a lot of typos in my old age but I do feed everything through an editor first and I try to be careful about proofreading. What I write is usually what I intend. I find this kind of unrequested editing a tad irritating.

Telecomgregation

Edit:
Huh... Did it to me too. It's not happening in the browser. It changed between submitting and reloading the page.
Chrome spell check does not show this as a correction option.

It is not Geekzone doing this. It's your browser set to auto-correct.

It is not server side. We do not have any auto-correct option. It's client side.

Noticed that. Happening to me too.

Appears a file and replace is happening server side for "teleco-n" maybe due to the past.
