Is there any way to make it so that when a subscribed thread has a reply, that I will only get an email for the first reply rather than every single reply?

On other forums I've been on, I do not get any FURTHER email notifications until I have logged into that forum - after that I then get new notifications (one per thread) until I login once again.

Hope that makes sense.

We thought about this and it is something we are thinking on implementing. But it would be an option because a lot of people like to receive more than one notification - first because sometimes they miss one notification and never get anything again and second because it gives a "measure" of the popularity of a discussion.

Thanks - an option would be great.

Now that I have a portable email device that is actually functional (iPhone), I am finding that keeping a clean inbox has its advantages when it comes to the limited screen real estate available!

What I have done to get around this at the moment is put a rule on all emails with "Geekzone Reply:" in the subject to move them to a Geekzone folder.
