Was amazed to find yesterday afternoon. Decided it needed to be posted here as its rare as hens teeth. I think there should be a badge for such a catch! From the tweet the boss needed to install a new version of minesweeper so the server needed to be reset.

having said that it is strange that https://status.geekzone.co.nz/ does not reflect things being offline. According to the status page even poor @freitasm hasn't been offline since 14/12/2018 for a 2 min sleep. He must be tired now!

Yes, the monthly Windows Update. The status monitoring service is set to five minutes checks, so I guess the reboot took less than that...

You've also got HTTP checks on UptimeRobot as opposed to Keyword (eg - looking for something unique on the page like "Backblaze: Cloud backup plans" and alerting if it isn't there). I've found that because Cloudflare puts up a status page, UptimeRobot sometimes doesn't alert.

Nope, I use keyword. Actually a keyword within a text file.
