We have a separate Forum for Lightbox which only has 208 topics with 4327 posts then all the other Streaming Services are bundled into one Forum, local & international, at 1566 topics with 28817 posts.

Just a suggestion to separate out into separate Forums for New Zealand only streaming services without having to use a VPN or an overseas account so we only talk about what is available in NZ only. It could be based on JustWatch NZ. Then all the rest into an International forum.

eg.

NZ ONLY Streaming Services (Netflix, Prime Video, Lightbox, TVNZ OnDemand, Apple TV, Neon, etc)

International Streaming Services (you could still have Netflix & Prime Video for content NOT available in NZ but also include HBO, Hulu etc)

iMac 27" (late 2013), Airport Time Capsule + Airport Express, iPhone7, iPad6, iPad Mini2

I am talking about the "Discussions" of the content provided by those services available in NZ only and International only. The above list of services available could be a 'sticky' at the top of the NZ only Forum

Lightbox has a separate forum because they actually have someone who represents the company and answers questions there.

Other services are bundled together unless they have someone registered here on Geekzone and a good number of topics - creating sub-forums is something we can't do lightly.

Same for ISPs - someone asked why ISP XYZ doesn't have its own sub-forum? Same answer: Geekzone presence and number of topics.

I understand about Lightbox, that's good to have a rep in these forums.

I just thought splitting the "Online Streaming Services" forum into two separate forums:

NZ ONLY Streaming Services You can use this forum to discuss topics related to all New Zealand centric only online streaming/downloading such as Netflix, Prime Video, Lightbox, TVNZ OnDemand, Apple TV, etc

International Streaming Services You can use this forum to discuss topics related to all International only online streaming/downloading such as HBO, Hulu and international Netflix & Prime Video for content NOT available in NZ.

Of course I realise you would have to rename the present Online Streaming Services forum into the International Streaming Services forum and leaving all present topics there and just initialise a new NZ ONLY Streaming Services forum.

This would make discussions concerning content (release dates etc), corporate news etc more relevant and easier from a geographic stand point. You could then move LEGAL video, movies and TV download and streaming options in New Zealand to the top of NZ ONLY Streaming Services forum making it a sticky Topic.

It seems it would be more logical that way and maybe even easier from a Forum & Topic search perspective.

Let's not create forum sprawl without good reason. I look at the "all threads" list anyway. Does anyone actually browse by forum? If not it makes little difference.

I thinking more along the lines of a more geographically logical & contemporary Forum for geographically & contemporary centric Topics.
