Yep. Yesterday someone asked me "where do you learn all this stuff" since they knew I had no formal training for longer than I can remember.

My answer was "Linux User Groups, Colleagues, Google Search and Geekzone"

Very cool.

I'm a geek, a gamer, a dad, a Quic user, and an IT Professional. I have a full rack home lab, size 15 feet, an epic beard and Asperger's. I'm a bit of a Cypherpunk, who believes information wants to be free and the Net interprets censorship as damage and routes around it. If you use my Quic signup you can also use the code R570394EKGIZ8 for free setup. Opinions are my own and not the views of my employer.

Thanks... It's an old photo. I thought it would be good to use one that is not my avatar everywhere else.

Good article..well done! I find Geekzone to be a lot better than Facebook and threads are well indexed in search engines. I find FB threads are not well indexed and seem to vanish into thin air after a while!

Congratulations and keep up the good work!

GZ is definitely one of my favourite forums, it’s actually a top 3 website I visit each day, it would be rude not too!

Not a bad writeup at all. It is an honour to be a part of the Mod team here at Geekzone. Quite a fine community indeed. Thanks for the support folks! Cheers to you @freitasm!

Congrats! I had no idea Chorus had a magazine, I'll have to check it out sometime.
