Warning: excessive use of the word blog in subject title.

A blog forum linked to blog post and blog comments.

I see geekzone blog post's also apearing in mobile.it forum (ok wrong name, ill try and edit to fix)
And I was thinking,  Should there be a forum called blogs? And posting comment's on the blog post would add the comment to the forum thread for that post and forum posts to the blog.

ok,  the only issue i can see with that, is blog posters become limited moderators, in that they can edit other people posts comments on the blog.

Anyway,  just a thought.
