I'm sure this thread existed elsewhere, but i'm not seeing it.

Very annoying issue here, normally to be able to post i have to go through a bunch of back and forwards between links until the page decides to grow the text box rather than just doing it on hover.

This is replicable on Chrome and webkit browser (android native)

Device is Mate 20 Pro, However replicable on my LG V20 aswell so i'd say it's not device specific.

It is not device specific and is something that Google changed on the last Chrome release.

I have found that simply turning my phone on its side and then back to portrait will sort this - everything "fixes" itself and the submit button is visible again.

It wasn't in the latest chrome. That just made it far worse.

Regardless fix please?

I had a look at this yesterday and couldn't get it fixed - I did get some results but still not working great. It is a simple text field, no special attributes so not sure about it. Will keep looking but if anyone sees something please let me know.

Interesting because I don't use Chrome on Android but test things now and then... Only noticed this recently.

Can you not just turn growing off and make the box scroll?

There is no attributes list in the box at all. The browser should not be doing this.

Interestingly I noted this in Opera Touch last night when I was testing it too.

I've got this too - but turning the phone side on works.

@timmmay you mentioned this on another thread. When did it start happening for you? After an update?

Still an issue for me on Opera and Chrome on my Note 10+.  I workaround it fine though.

Interesting because I use Opera on my P30 Pro and this doesn't happen on it. It does happen on Chrome but this is a recent "addition" to Chrome.

Might be a difference between Opera Touch and Opera proper?

Oh, probably. As I said, this wasn't happening before and I don't know what could be the problem as the box is shown on mobile with no special attributes - not even TinyMCE.

If anyone knows what to change to get it working properly again, please let me know.
