So I tried to update details this morning, specifically location, but cannot get it to work.

 

Following happens:

 

1) Update location and submit - I get "Error: Invalid email specified"

 

2) try to re-enter email and change location at once, with password - "Error: No changes made. This email is already in use."

 

Am I doing something really stupid?

Having the same problem. May or may not be related, but the email address in my profile contains capital letters, so have tried changing to the same but without capitals, which of course throws an error as the email is in use.




People often mistake me for an adult because of my age.

Yes exactly the same for me, email starts with a capital which I changed to all lowercase then I get the email already in use error.

 

I guess if I were really desperate I could change to a temp email and change back but thats a lot of effort.

I have fixed the email validation when using uppercase - please test if possible.

I'm still having an issue - trying to remove privacy so I can enable private messages, but I get the email invalid. Tried changing all to lowercase and get email in use error.

 

I've changed my email to something else, validated it, then tried to remove the privacy option, and still get an error.

I have changed the regex and tested with your email - you should have an email with the registration code.

 

I have added validation for "+" that wasn't there.

 

Also, email validation links are case sensitive - you have to enter the same email address. I will change this later.

 

Please test again?
