I think it was mid 2019 when I made an ill advised post to politics and was banned from that forum.   I am wondering whether these bans are permanent or after a period of stand down people can re-gain access?   I did ask via email a few months back whether I could get access back to politics as it is a forum I really enjoy.   Thanking you for your consideration.

It depends on history. Everyone's report, mod comment, FUG reset is logged into our database. Usually those specific sub-forum bans are permanent.

Thanks for your prompt reply!   I notice you say usually permanent, so is there any hope for my return from the 'political wilderness'?
