I tried to reply to a post today, then noticed it hadn't posted.  When I went back and tried again I noticed the above error, something I hadn't seen before.

I assume there is a limit to quotes, but what is it?

I can only see one reference to this in the forums - https://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=86&topicid=269709&page_no=2

Good etiquette is to only quote a single post from earlier in thread.  If you're wanting to reply to the most recent post then just use Reply.  Walls of quoted text are horrible and unnecessary.

That said there isn't a number limit in the FUG.  Just use common sense: https://www.geekzone.co.nz/content.asp?contentid=1046

There is a hard limit of two quotes per reply. I have implemented this months ago because a lot of people were quoting five, six replies when they only wanted to mention the reply immediate before theirs.
