Based on past issues it will be a non standard browser or something being blocked error. Also worked for me.

Different room, different PC, different browser, now it's working. I hate these kinds of things. 

Had a brief moment before on my iPad where it felt like it wasn’t working - I was pushing it but it appeared to not apply until I’d pushed a few times. Definitely seems fine now though…

I think I found it. I have the free version of Malwarebytes on this computer. Somehow the premium trial got activated and the real time protection was getting in the way. I deactivated it and it seems to be working normally again.

I get it but I'm not interested in premium Malwarebytes and have no intention of ever using that. It shouldn't have been activated and if it is causing the problem, I am happy to do without it. I haven't seen any sign of other issues but if something arises, I will deal with that then.
