Hi Mods

Long time geekzoner, subscriber and Offers and Wanted participant. I am confused why my recent post for the sale of my iPhone was removed from the Offers and Wanted forum while others in Auckland are/were not.

Yes, I noticed after my post that the forum, due to L4 in AK, was restricted and quickly made sure the ad/offer was NZ wide delivery only. I work as an essential worker in a relevant ITC business where packages are dispatched almost daily so is part in parcel of what we are doing daily.

I had a bit of interest from fellow geekzoners including @JClarkeNZ then find out the next morning my post has been deleted and sale fell through.

So just asking why my post was deleted:

But this for example, clearly and openly in AK, is allowed:

Look, its not a huge deal, it went up on TM the next day and was sold for more than I offered it to fellow geekzoners. But just seems odd.

I'm guessing your post was made when the entire country was in L4, the subforum was opened up again once the majority of the country dropped to L3.

Nope, It was only late last week - post removed on the 17th. NZ at L2 and AK at L4

That would be my guess too as the topics are five days apart and Auckland was at Level 4 when your post went up.

Its not a huge deal - but if you can put it back up and mark it as sold that would be great. It looks bad that it was removed and I don't want people to think anything underhanded was going on.

It was before. Moderators have no way to know if someone has access to courier, is essential or not, etc.

It is a free service and to be on the safe side we locked the sub-forum while the whole country was at Level 4 and unlocked at Level 3 and 2 but asked Auckland to not post.

And in reference to why one/some weren't hidden, we don't necessarily see every single post. Sometimes things only get noticed if another member reports it.

Yes, it was before AK was at L3. The forum restriction for AK has only just now changed.
