Probably half of you will notice a new ad format, sticking from the bottom of the page. This is a test and until we have some results we will know if it stays or if it goes. If it stays we might remove another ad from our pages - already removed one last week.

It definitely gets your attention!  At first glance I thought it was the browser download notification bar, as it stayed static with scrolling

TBH its quite annoying as it really stands out. Kind of makes me want to un-whitelist, sorry.

I actually don't mind it as much - my pet hate is ads at the TOP of the screen that just end up pushing down the content I want to read, especially when it makes me scroll just to read things.

Sure it reduces the total vertical space, but if the top (current ads) go, then fine by me.

On mobile it does take up some space. It's not in the way but it's a little unsightly.

 

Phone was a Poco F3.

I'm not seeing it, but am anti anything that takes up vertical space. Especially on smaller/laptop screens it just means more scrolling, which is the trademark of TradeMe now.

Not everyone will see it. It sticks to the bottom of the screen so it shouldn't use more space than now.

Sorry, what I meant is if it sticks to the bottom of the screen, that leaves less actual viewable space above, so more scrolling up and down to read things. The current format off to the side doesn't impact so much because most monitors are landscape orientation.

I Don't  mind ads on this site but the new pop up bottom one is really annoying
