Does Geekzone have a “Jump to new” function?

Many forums I use have a button at the top of each thread or topic to allow you to jump to the first post you haven’t yet read (if you’re logged in). I find it incredibly useful.

Maybe it’s already possible and I’m just not seeing it? If not, maybe it could be taken as a suggestion??

The little icon to the right of the page numbers. It's been there for almost twenty years.

Every now and then I find that the new post button forgets what I've already seen and takes me back to posts from a few days prior. In fact its happening to me now.

This is where the new post button is currently taking me on the EV General News thread. There's 3 pages of posts after this one that I've already read?

Logins in different devices should be synchronised but there's a bug and it doesn't always work.

This can be a bit unreliable at times, but clicking 'Reset read flags' occasionally seems to fix it for a while.

Ah, yes! I’m so used to that function being within the thread itself on other forums rather than on the list of topics, I just didn’t see it. In my defence, I’ve only been a member since 2003, so I haven’t had much time to find it.

Thanks. My life is now complete.

I use the 'new forum post' under the 'search' button.

Brings up a list of new posts/threads since I lasted visited GeekZone, which was 5min ago 😀.

If it wasn't for this I'd seriously get lost.
