I noticed Mikeb4, who was a frequent and well respected contributor to these forums, hasn't posted since May.

Of course it's anyone prerogative to stop participating in any online activity, but it seemed sudden and unusual and I really hope he's OK. (I know he wasn't always in the best of health.)

Is there anyone here who knows him personally and is willing and able, and with Mike's permission as well of course, to give an update.

Could you PM him first, rather than taking it public at this stage?

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

I considered that but didn't want to intrude on his privacy. I felt that there may be others who are interested and I'm hoping I worded my request carefully enough to prevent any such intrusion.  This thread will disappear down the list soon enough if we receive no news (for whatever reason) but if it's considered inappropriate then apologies and mod, please delete.

I also noticed him missing and wondered.
