Been wondering about GZ signatures going the way of the dodo, but public profile pages being there still.

@Freitasm is there a way we could add subscribers only signatures to their public profile page, might help with the subscriber drive as I am guessing having your business linked on this site is good SEO, but wouldn’t then sully the posting so much?

The signature is somethine we show on desktop versions and for either trusted users or users with a high number of posts. We do so to avoid spam, and mostly SEO spam.

Adding that as a subscriber feature would negate this "filter" and anyone could register an account, pay $5 and get free links. No different than people being "verified" on X.

I don't think it's a feature for that.

I will reduce the number of posts needed to show the signature though.

🤣 - I almost never visit on a desktop machine - normally my ipad and iphone (I am wondering what the user agent split is these days).

Neither of them show signatures, so I thought we had got rid of them...

Was thinking though - might be nice to have a bit more space on the thread (to pick up your concern maybe similar rules to now + Membership?) - but move signatures to the profile page?

Just wondering, is it possible to remove the vertical white space (between the last line of text on a post and the signature so it is more condensed?

or is there a minimum size, given the left content?

Just aesthetics. But as a subscriber you can hide all signatures:
