You already started another discussion about this.

The JobPoster service only loads jobs every few hours, and it's intended to be a service to the community. A lot of people are looking for jobs now. Lucky you are not.

I can change the New Posts page to not show that specific forum. Which I feel would be a nicer request than just screaming SPAM.

See if you can create a job-less RSS feed as well as the normal one. I, for one, am looking for IT jobs right now, so it is a plus to have them delivered to my RSS. But I can also see the point for people with secure jobs or uninterested in them.

Many thanx.

Sorry. I didn't realize that i had posted this already in the Geekzone forum.  I thought I had posted it to the Jobs forum and it had been deleted.

Apologies..

Speaking of RSS... creating a custom RSS URL that only give you certain forums would be cool too :)

There is a custom feed for each forum, just add each one into your Rss reader and group them together in a folder.

- The New Forum Posts page is no longer listing the Jobs forum;
- The Geekzone Forums RSS feed is no longer listing the Jobs forum;
- There is a Geekzone Jobs RSS feed already;
- There is a RSS feed for each individual forum you can access. Look for the RSS icon for each forum in the forum list page or in each forum index page. Just asubscribe to the ones you want or use something like Yahoo! Pipes to create a mash up.

Good stuff those are sensible changes.

Would you consider adding a "Todays Posts" or "Recent Posts" page that listed the most recent posts for the last x days or hours in decending order regardless of the last time you logged in.

I think it would be useful for people who log in check a couple of posts go do something else log back in later and have missed a bunch of posts.
