Having issues adding this <img src="http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc234/NightbringerMinion/vader_bowling.gif"> .gif signature to my geekzone profile.

This link seems to work in other forums....not sure whats up here!

lol @ that gif.

Anyways, you're using the wrong code. It should be

img src="http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc234/NightbringerMinion/vader_bowling.gif" alt="" /

(within angular brackets, of course)

As you can see, you forgot to close the IMG tag. The new HTML (rather, XHTML) specs say that self-closing tags such as BR must be specified like "BR /"

More info: http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_img.asp

May the farce be with you!

Nice image, but a 300Kbytes signature will be removed. It's not "nice" for mobile users and even too big.

I optimized it to a 238 KB file (from 2.9 MB!). Quality's gone down, of course, but it's just as funny! :)

Here's a 255 KB one, slightly higher quality. More colors, but removed redundant frames at end.

Hmm.

Changed it. Still does not seem to be working. Are image sigs of small size allowed?

That's because you are using the rich text editor - you should use the IMAGE button in the menu to add the image, not enter the tag.
