Over the last 2 weeks when i have come to the geekzone forums my internet explorer 8 browser on windows xp has been freezing. before 2 weeks ago it was not freezing. has geekzone made any behind the scenes code changes over these last 2 weeks?

Not for the last two weeks... However we did find a problem with Interne Explorer 8 and removed some script a couple of weeks ago. You should not have this problem now.
