For some reason, GZ has started to randomly reset my read flags for all unread posts.  I'm in the middle sifting through the unread posts since my last visit and mid way through it resets the read flags for me.  I lose where I'm at.

Why does it do this?

Are you using Internet Explorer 8 as your RSS reader?

Nope.  I'm at work using Windows XP Pro and Windows Explorer 6!  80

Strange. More than one browser window?

Try an alternative browser, I'm sure you'll probably find IE6 is the problem.

Google Chrome: http://www.google.com/chrome

Firefox: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html

Again, this is happening from my work PC, so I don't have the option of changing to an alternative browser.  Anyway, IE should just work shouldn't it?

If you are browsing the site and leave the page open for longer than 20 minutes your session will timeout, and next time you refresh the page it will have a different "last visit" timestamp.

If you look at the Unread Forum List we now have options to show "Since your last visit, Since yesterday, and Today".

My issue happened when I was replying to a post. I tapped it out, hit post reply, and went to the main forum screen (list of all forums). My post had not saved on GZ and I found that all the new posts had been reset.

Yeah, I know. I should have said this initially...

What time? I guess it was when the IIS worker recycled for some reason...

Lunch time. Around 12:15pm or so. Actually I find that I lose posts and PMs from time to time. Quite frustrating, especially if you've put time into composing them.

What is the IIS worker recycle? Or don't I want to know...

Did you know you can use Firefox portable from a USB stick?

No I didn't.  That is handy to know, thanks.

But it would be a PITA to use a USB drive just to view one website.

I've raised this just in case something was wrong with GZ, or I was doing something wrong myself.
