this sites great. a friend recommended it to me. i am pleased with the number of nz isp forums however it is lacking a free wifi isp forum. alot of individuals around new zealand actually let people use their unsecured wifi now without paying. but without using word of mouth it is hard to tell if a access point is unsecured because of lack of technical knowledge or it is really free

there are alot of new zealand users in this forum that may offer free wifi so a seperate forum for this is needed

speed 1mbps
time between 9am-6pm

speed is not needed but you can limit how much a user downloads/uploads when using your wifi router by chucking the dd-wrt firmware on it and using the access restrictions to set your router broadband speed to 1mbps if you want

i just think it would rock if free wifi was available everywhere. i'm sure the isps would love it. your not selling the wifi so isp can't stop it
