I noticed some blogs don't have Google ads in them, how do you turn this off? Do i need to be a subscriber to get rid of these ads?

Cheers :)

I would reccommend subscribing anyway, it's soooo much better visiting the site and forums without ads.

(By the way, I was totally fibbing about the massages from Mauricio in the last subscription benefit thread.)

As part of the conditions every blog should have the Google AdSense code. That's how we can offer it for free.

Ah, i thought some blogs didn't have the google ads, but a closer look revealed they did, but they were just taking ages to show up.... been having lots of issues with my new fancy Slingshot connection lately, but that's another story!

You haven't looked hard enough. It's all in your Profile options page. There are links for the Blog Configuration, which is where you change options, configure CSS and more.
