Thanks for the latest competition - I just entered it.

When I was at the form to fill out and send the entry, it said my email address was invalid.

I was using myusername+geekzone@gmail.com - the "+geekzone" bit lets me file emails very easily. With gmail you can specify +anything - its like having unlimited aliases.

As soon as I stripped the +geekzone off, i was able to enter...

Ok... Thanks for the heads up - that's because of the URL using + instead of " "...

Will change this.

Good luck!

Thanks for the gmail tip, never knew it, sounds handy.

Is that a gmail exclusive or a more common email feature?

I think its gmail exclusive. I could be wrong though. Its super ultra handy.

I have posted some Gmail invites - check the Announcements topic.

Gmail is up to 2.4GB these days.

Also check out "GmailFS" for using a gmail account as free online storage...

When did Google put you on their payroll? :)

I did similar with a catch-all account on one of my domain names for a while, certainly does work well until you start forgetting passwords and usernames and the email you signed up with.

Good old gmail tells me "You are currently using 4 MB (0%) of your 2437 MB." and I've got 50 invites as well but never really been compelled to invite someone.

I use Outlook to get all my Gmail, and I delete it all when read, but it all (deliberatly) stays in the webmail account, so I can always retreiev an email. Very handy.

I wish i was on Googles payroll...

If you invite yourself, you get the URL which you can then post anywhere for someone to take at their leisure...
