I noticed disenchanted now has moderator by his name. Great move, I think its long overdue and he is a solid candidate for the job.

Yes, he is the first Moderator here, and has been doing a great job, almost invisible but tidying up some posts, contacting people and arranging for a more warm welcome to newbies in the forums.

He actually came to our Geekzone Party 2005 (last picture, on the left side).

We also have a surprise to Auckland readers who couldn't make to Wellington this time, but will post about this later this week or next...

I would like to think that most of what I do goes unnoticed.
"[Moderator edits]" may come from either myself or freitasm (or both, like this morning).

And everyone including myself, needs a wee pointer to stay on topic or start a new thread sometimes. I know it can be annoying, but we have to try and keep things on topic to ensure that the threads stay valuable to visitors.

(Nothing worse than searching for the cure to a problem and finding a bunch of OT posts that are no help).

call me sam.
i dont reread my posts so i dont know if i get edited but one would hope not too regularly.

good to have another person fighting the bs battle makes reading up after a couple of days a bit easier
