Is it just me being blind or do I remember there being a better search function for the forums?, i.e. search capabilities like vBulletin

My opinions and ideas expressed in posts are solely my own and do not reflect the views of my employer in any way..

On the left pane there is a google box with an option to search the geekzone.co.nz domain.

Not ideal, but probably easy than coding a potentially CPU/Database taxing search program.

Yes, use the search box provided. You can filter to forum only by entering site:geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp at the end of the query.

The main reason is performance, the other is creating an algorithm that could bring results based on fuzzy search queries - Google does it so why not use it?
