Just saw this when I was browsing the Westpac website:

According to the page (the image is hyperlinked), Online security day is today. Anyone else heard about it?

Just another xxxxx* day.

* Insert reason here.

Links to New Zealand Online Security Day... Never heard of this.

Seems to be sponsored by Westpac (what a surprise) and Symantec, but I didn't get any Symantec press release.

Oops, forgot to put link.

Didn't really think much about it. There always seems to be some day popping out of the blue that I have never heard of. I'm not sure whether its because they are just being created on the spot or whether I'm living under a rock.

Maybe we need a geekzone day or something creative.

Do they have people wandering the streets with collection boxes? Support your local Online Security Day today.

Right thats that then I may as well put down the hacking tools and go home.
