One thing that REALLY annoys me is site operators who force you to put www in front of any website before it'll work. I always make a point of emailing them (and nzpost even emailed me back when they fixed it, well done NZ Post)

Anyway, off my high hourse.

GeekZone's not doing that, but the refer checking on images (?) is:

http://geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?ForumId=39&TopicId=6001

Shift-Reload that page and have a look at the images in CokeMasters sig.
Now put www in front of the URL and shift-reload the page. Looks as it should.

A small bug you might want to fix :)

Cheers,
Tim

Didn't notice it before, probably due to the cache...
Without www:

With www:

The images in the sig are linked to two of the icons hosted here on geekzone. I can host them on my own site to avoid problems if needbe.

You are right, we do not force use of www before our domain - but we have added hotlinking blocking because of bandwidth and traffic usage.

This should be fixed now. I've added another check to the referer list. Please tell me if is not working for you and I will have another look.

Not related to geekzone but slightly related to the first post... when I was looking up boost mobile - their site seems to not respond without the www present.

Without www (broken)
With www (works)

Its strange because its a relatively easy thing to fix (in my experience)
