A lot of the same names popping up across many forums... guess I've got something to aim for now :-D

I am thinking of creating a custom page where you will find who else is posting in the forums you post most. This would be insteresting...

Can't go wrong with more stats. Are these top poster's generated dynamically or static?

If you've got time could you also add a page showing who consumes the most coffee while browsing GZ? Tongue out (coughcoffeebaroncough)

Those are dynamic - we don't have (not at the moment) any static information - everything is generated from our database on the fly...

What about a page with the most active users? Eg, users that have logged in last and posted or something. Could be a interesting thing to see.

Ah well, looks like I have something to aim for now. Then again I just post at random when I decide to.

Or what about making the "Last Posted" bit on the front page all AJAX like, automatically updating and nicely scrolling, kinda like the Twitter Widget does, that would be quite cool (saves me refreshing the front page)

There's a few things for you to work off. Let's see if you choose any of my suggestions :)

If you want to keep an eye in our forums and use Windows 7, then consider our Windows Gadget (http://www.geekzone.co.nz/Geekzone_sidebar_gadget.asp).

But there's nothing for Debian Linux I take it :)
Unless if you used a RSS Reader.

Ok, another update...

After checking performance in our forum listing page I decided to remove Top Posters from that page. It remains at the bottom of each forum thread list page though.

I have also added a Geekzone Moderators list to every page. This will make it easier for people to find out who are our moderators and to contact them if needed.

Note we also have "Most replies in this discussion" and "Geekzone Moderators" just below the Quick Reply box.
