WOW is all I can say, I didn't realize just how fast Geekzone is without ads.

I have been meaning to Subscribe for a while now just have forgotten but was reminded when I got the email about using a Adblocker.

The other Subscriber only features don't really appeal to me but for anyone contemplating on wither or not to subscribe I say go for it. The speed alone is worth a mere $7 a month. (One Beer).

Thanks for that... As I said before, A subscription is much faster than adblocking because we don't even send down the scripts, making the whole page smaller before it even gets to your browsers. And no scripts means a lot faster.

Agreed. Goes real f. I have moved house this weekend and have no broadband until sometime this week so have tethered my fone to 2Degrees via edge. The lack of ad sure speeds the site up. A 2D 3G data stick sure would have been nice though.. About a eek too late for me..
