I was voting in the netguide awards and figured that GZ deserved my vote in a few categories.

Thanks for the plug... I would be honoured to receive a few votes of the frequent (and not so frequent) visitors...

  • Best Blog <--- Well writen imformative blog.

  • Best Entertainment site <-- The odd out of control discussion makes for an interesting read

  • Best Parenting site <-- Same as above, except for the rare flamewars that give the admin/mods a parenting role (joking)

  • Best Media site <--- Good collection of fresh tele/computer related news

  • Best Home page

  • Site of the year

  • Last two are fairly obvious.

Trademe didn't get my vote for any catergory, ferit didn't either as the site just didn't appeal to me. My other votes included ASB, Orcon and Ascent.

Mauricio, you should put up this image beside the top banner ad, encourage people to vote.

Or there are different ones here
    Just a thought

Good idea. Noticed a few other sites are have "Have you voted for xxx in the NetGuide Awards".

I am surprised that they don't have any anti-automated spambot image-character things there...

Hmmm. Just received an e-mail from Stuff asking for votes... The only time I gave them mail e-mail address was on an e-mail to the editor complaining about those annoying video ads, and didn't even get a reply. Of course I gave my spam catch e-mail address, not my business one.

Sorry, but Stuff staff do not reply to e-mails and spam Internet users, therefore they don't deserve my vote.

    I voted for Geekzone!
