Thought this was a pretty logical one. if you are already watching a topic or forum then the watch topic button shoudl change into a remove topic /forum button?

Yes, and no. As part of an API we are creating we are planning on giving applications acess to user's subscribed ("watched") forums. To fully support this I am creating a page listing all forums with checkboxes to watch/unwatch (is this a word?) what you want, and toggle email notification/push notification on/off.
