'Favourites'
'Submitted links'

both empty. Are they relics of something that never happened? Or am I blind and missing something?

And 'Forums' has a list of stuff going back to day dot - could we empty that out?

These are going out now, while I add the checkboxes for mass deletion of PMs. The Links page is being removed (currently not accessible from any of our menus, but still there). The Favourites are Links that you would find on the Links page and mark to show on your profile page.

Forums are all the threads you have initiated here on Geekzone. I am not sure I want to remove those.

Keep forums. Sometimes its handy to refer back to an answer you got on an old thread. Saves having to search though the site

i noticed that half my PM's have disapeared. Is there a limit now? Is they a way to lock them from deletion?

Are you talking about the PMs received from me? I have cleaned up lots of old PMs, both sent and received.

There's no locking of messages, but this is a good idea - if a message is locked then the sender can not delete it. I will work on this.

oh so if you send me a PM then delete it from your sent it will no longer be in my incoming? Just sometimes you might get a useful bit of info thats worth keeping. A lock feature would be great but i wouldnt call it urgent.

also with the delete.....is it possible to have a check box at the top that will select all? except of course for locked messages whenever that will happen.

Yes... This is not a full messaging system, and I wanted it replaced. It's the only original thing in this software that I haven't touched in three years! I will probably add the "Save/Lock" option in the coming week.

Aha, I was looking for PM's from you just before you had PM'd me and they seem to have dissappeared.. After you swapped my name to lowercase, half my PM's are unreadable! nothing that worries me, but still there.

What are the "links" you are talking about? I'm lost on that one..

Also http://www.geekzone.co.nz/logout.asp has to be typed in manually, There needs to be a little button.

The "beer" icon Iv'e just redone can be pulled from here..Beer man

What is this 'logout' process you speak of. Surely noone leaves Geekzone for more than a few minutea at a time? There should be no need to log out.... ever.

I might moderatorise your paradoxxed hide if you say logout again...
^^^^^^^^^ yes its a word.... and has been for nearly three years as far as I can tell.

But if there was such a button, just a text link next to the username in the top right would be good (doesnt mean you can use it if it appears though....)

Oh gee - I really should retire for the night.

Thanks for the icon update... Needed it. Ok, will add the Logout option - but it still need to clean up cookies otherwise you have an automatic login on the next page load.
