Howdy everyone...I had just spent bout 10mins trying to put a new post up in the forums with opera* finally gave up and posted with Internet Explorer instead. It seemed that the submit button was just redirecting me back to the reply page where I would just have to write my message all over again.

Has anyone else had these problems? Going to check if there is a another version out for opera yet.

I've tested posting with Opera 8.5 on my test server here and it worked. I am actually replying to this post with Opera 8.5 just to see if it works ok.

I know Opera 9 (which is still in beta) is quite full of "features" (read bugs)...

Are you using the RTF editor with Opera or not?

I've opted out and have no problems with the old textbox method. And you can still add annoying fonts, sizes and colours if you want to bug people, via HTML code.

In terms of Opera 9, its fairly solid but its still rightfully in beta stages still.
Some of the bugs like the ability to block content (No, once again i don't use it here) and the bittorrent client would come in handy.
Obviously these bugs need to be removed before it becomes final. :P

I quite like Opera though... usable webmail client and RSS reader, and no issues as such with Geekzone. Doesn't display the Public Service Ads like IE7 does for instance. Very fast too, and doesn't chew up half the memory Firefox does.

Also comes in small packages - look at the download size and compare it to another browsers upgrade size.
