Hello folks

Until recently we used the standard Twitter API authentication, which required you to enter username and password to allow us to interact with your Twitter accounts.

Since this is not a so secure way of doing things, Twitter has disabled it, requiring every application to use another method.

I have updated our user profile page to use the Twitter OAUTH to authenticate users.

I have removed all existing Twitter information from our database, including Twitter id and password. You will need to re-connect your Geekzone account with Twitter. You can do this in your User Profile page.

I will send an email soon to everyone who previously had a Twitter id in our database, but feel free to update it from now.

Also note, your Status Update will again update Twitter.

Incoming tweets (the tweets you post from other tools) will start flowing back into Geekzone a bit later.
