It's not what they are, but what you are going to do with them...

Ask yourself. Do you have things to say - things that are better explored in your space than a forum discussion? Very different spaces.

I have one.  I think it's good for writing articles that other users might find informative from things I've learnt.

That's probably why it's only got two posts at the moment, with a 3rd in the works.  I have a fairly small brain.

i also have one, it also only has two posts.... :

obviously what i had to say at the time was important to someone

biggest points of a continuously successful blog:
* have something to contribute that people will want to read
* constantly update it with new, relevant, content
