Free as in just having a box to type them into, instead of a drop-down list with a limited number of tags.

Comma or space separated would be good.

i would like to see this too because i may have few tags to put to relate a blog post. can't always fit them in one general "category". Perhaps use category for what it is related to, then tags for what it closely associate/relevant to.

Also are we allowed to add our own Zoom Cloud for within our blog? I know we have Zoom Cloud in the Blog Index, but would probably be useful to have a Zoom Cloud that is more related to our individual blog too.

I will add the tags as a comma separated list, linking to Technorati. Also, yes you can add your own zoom cloud, just add it as a separate item in a free list - make sure to remove any line break in the code!

about buzzcloud/zoom cloud.

I have been looking at Swicki, and their implementation is javascript based. Are we able to use that? What is Zoom Cloud's implementation?

I've tried Swicki, and it works in the blog. Think Zoom Cloud is Javascript too.

Yes, you can use Javascript in a Free List item, providing you make sure there's no line breaks (which would be automatically converted to br tags qwhen rendered by the blog page.
