+1, I do spend a bit of time on the mobile site and more than once have had to switch over to the full site to do a search.

We'll see what can be done.

Does the search in the main site work on mobile for you? What device are you using?

I used the mobile site for a short while but now generally use the "Full" site on my phone using Opera mobile.  It seems to work OK on a screen even smaller than the N8.

Yes the search in the main site works for me on my Samsung Galaxy S2 with Dolphin Browser no problems, I just prefer the way the mobile site fits the screen so I don't have to move around the screen so much.
