Just today I started having a problem with clicking on a link on a webpage that opens up a new window...it doesn't work for me anymore. I use windows ME and IE 6. I have all windows updates. Can anyone help me to fix this problem?

Erich

Are you using any pop-up block program? Norton Internet Security?

I had a similar problem on my laptop (Internet Explorer 6.0, Windows 2000 Professional): no link would work at all. I ended up having to reinstall the system on that laptop.

Don't remove it yet. You have an option in it to disable and not start it when starting Windows. Try that. If your pop-ups work, then you'll have to look in the Ad Blocking configuration for some settings that control this.
