On this day 1 year ago Vodafone released carry over plans for prepay

And one year later we still don’t have it for high paying On Account customers.

I had hoped it would follow shortly after but Nope.

I always get confused by carryover? Do people save up their minutes and data and then go nuts for one month? I would think if you wanted the carryover then surely you're on the wrong plan to begin with?

The Data bundles between Prepay and postpay are quite different

High paying on account customers are all on unlimited minutes, so why do you need carry over?

I wouldn't be unhappy if 10% of my data carried over for a maximum of 3 months (Since YES mudguard, some of us DO use more data sometimes not others, like when I travel). Obviously as CB said it's pointless doing it for minutes.

After having carryover the thought of going on a plan where everything expires at the end of the month seems ridiculous and archaic, i pay for so 'x' minutes and data so i should be able to use them all as and when i feel fit

I bet most people either give away or manage their mins & data each and every month, even 10 mins and 100mb of data gradually accumulate into something useful

Peoples use can commonly change around the year. You might be around 'home' for 11 months for regular use, then go on holiday in another part of the country with limited wifi and require a lot more data over that period, no?

Then wouldn't you be better off paying for a low usage plan for the 11 months and the switching up to a higher plan for that month?

If you are away at the holiday house for a couple of weeks then you'll chew through that data.

If your data usage patterns rarely deviate from month to month then yes you are right.

But, carryover would save me from buying the odd top up pack -- looking to move to skinny when I get energised.
