i just went online and switched from VF to bigpipe.
i also have sky through VF but want to cancel internet and sky,
do i need to call VF and cancel or should i leave that to bigpipe?

michaelmurfy: BigPipe will take care of the switch. Normally you wouldn't need to contact your old ISP however it is normally best to.

It is ALWAYS best to, don't rely on 3 parties all successfully completing their tasks (new ISP, chorus, old ISP).
The downside risk of not doing it is just too high.

Always call your "Losing service provider" and let them know your changing.

You do need to be careful with that however. Some ISP's require 30 days notice. You may end up being doubled billed for a time period.
