Speedtest.net shows the following to xnet.

and from http://www.xnet.co.nz/speedtest/

2499kpbs dl and 82kbs up

I have tried this at different times of the day with http://www.xnet.co.nz/speedtest/ always showing similar results.

Anyone else seeing this?

I was trying to figure out why I could no longer stream shows from revision3.com to xbox, without it needing "buffer" very few minutes.

I've never had upload speeds lower than 118k to the Auckland server on Speedtest.net.

Speedtest.net and the version on xnet.co.nz aren't quite the same, and may be different servers, despite the client being made by the same company.

Try the speed test at http://speedtest.xport.co.nz/

Run an isolation test: i.e. unplug all phones, faxes, filters etc in the home. Plug in you router only. Run these tests again. Also what are you router line stats for the upstream? should be 160Kbps.

If the above test fixes it, you have an issue with something in the house. If the results are the same, you need to then phone the help-desk and log a fault. Your upstream should be hitting the 120-130Kbps mark most of the time.

ummmm upload speed should not have much to do with your streaming of vids, apart from sending a signal to the server saying where you are upto downloading the info, all i can suggest is the servers are busy, or perhaps you changed your software that u used for streaming but i do admit you upload speed seems to be a worry
