This morning my wife rang me on her cell phone. There was no dial tone on our line. We are XNET Fusion customers. I got her to reboot the WAG54GP2 router and the line came back again. There was Internet access before and after the reboot. Strange I thought, lets keep an eye on that.
Tonight I was downloading flat out at a reported 6.2MB/s and my wife came to see me, phone is not working. I stopped the download and the phone is back again. Its all worked perfectly while I have been overseas the last three weeks. Seems my intense broadband use is the problem.
This is my replacement router as the previous new one didn't work reliably. Have I got a second faulty router or does QoS just not work for the phone line under XNET Fusion?. Do I have to permanently reserve the phone some bandwidth and if so how?
