Hi there,

I've arranged a express replacement for my iphone 7 through apple directly.

However i just remembered it was purchased through vodafone with their interest free monthly payments.

Do i need to advise vodafone of the replacement happening? Should i have gone directly through vodafone instead of apple?

Just being mindful that the serial/IMEI number etc which were noted at the point of purchase will change once i get my replacement device, and if this will affect anything?

Thanks in advance

Worth giving us a quick call to ensure we update your records, IMEI number as you mentioned. Just in case.

I just called and they said I dont need to do anything? But just any future warranty requests are through apple and no longer through vodafone. Does that sound about right?

Would i be better off getting it sent through vodafone?

or does it not really make much of a difference?

But i guess in the end it would be vodafones 24 month warranty vs apples 12 month?
